The Sixt on-line car reservation system offers a material time reservation; i.e. you will receive your reservation confirmation immediately after your reservation request. During your on-line reservation your special firm tariffs are used.

Can I rent a specific vehicle model with Sixt?

Are vehicles permitted to be taken abroad during the rental period?

In normal circumstances yes. However, for safety reasons certain vehicle groups are subject to country specific restrictions of entry. Please ask about these regulations before you place your reservation and inform us should you wish to travel to a different country during your rental period.

Are one-way rentals possible (also abroad)?

International one-way rentals are subject to our entry regulations and can be subject to additional transportation charges. Please find the detailed information in the terms & conditions.

When must I pay for my car rental?

You can choose between a worldwide rental which has to be payed at time of car rental and prepaid rates for your Holiday Cars.
The deposit for the rental will be charged to your credit card at the time of rental.
Vehicles can be rented upon the presentation of a valid credit card accepted by Sixt, or a Sixt credit-/payment method, when picking up the rental vehicle. For exact information, please note our terms & conditions.

How can I get information on the Sixt network?

Very simply and quickly via the Internet. Under the heading "Sixt Cards" select "SixtExpress card", fill out the online application form and click on ‚Send Application‘, print it out, sign it and return it to us. Your SixtExpress card will then be delivered to you immediately by post.

With the Sixt CarExpress service, waiting at the counter is a thing of the past. You can hire your vehicle around the clock, simply and conveniently, at our numerous CarExpress machines by using your SixtExpress card or credit card.
